Three Stones for Pain Relief & Healing

There are many stones that have a reputation for relieving aches & pains of various kinds & some are significantly better at this than others. For this Three Stone series, I have chosen three that are excellent for their pain relieving & healing qualities. One (malachite) is quite easy to come by. The other two are more difficult to find, but well worth it if you can find them.

The first stone is Malachite. It is a beautiful multicolored green. It is one of the best healing stones to be found & revered in many cultures for it?s healing abilities. It's good for all sorts of pain relief, including aches & pains, broken bones, arthritis, achy joints, & torn muscles. Malachite can help enhance the immune system. It can also help you through painful emotional times, allowing you to let go of old emotional pain & wounds & thereby become healthy again. It is a good stone to carry when you are depressed or need a bit of balance in your life.

The second stone is Charoite. This is a purple & black stone from Russia. This stone is especially good for headaches. It is good for general aches & pains that are not chronic in nature. It helps the body to realign itself properly & thereby heal itself. It is a very calming & soothing stone & the black swirls often found in it (manganese) help bring additional healing elements into play.

The third stone is Dioptase. Dioptase is often found as small, beautiful bright green crystals growing on other stones. Even the smallest crystals are excellent pain relievers & healers. This is probably the best stone for pain relief of all kinds. It encourages the body to heal & reenergize itself. It has a natural calming energy which desensitizes the body & mind while helping you to heal. It also helps alleviate depression. It is an excellent stone for healing the heart chakra.

To use these stones you may wear them next to the afflicted part or wear them on your person. You can also use these stones to meditate or sleep with, thereby alleviating pain. Elixirs made from these stones are another way to benefit by them, but these should be made by a qualified person. As with any illness or pain, you should always consult your health care practitioner, as stones are an added level to your health care & not meant to replace a doctor or medication.
